Job Description
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a thriving team in the hospitality industry. Based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, the position requires expertise in financial reporting and budgeting to support business decision-making.
- Prepare and analyse management accounts to support business strategies.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial accuracy.
- Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis.
- Assist in preparing year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as required.
- Support cost control measures and profitability improvement initiatives.
- Deliver timely financial reports to key stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights.
The successful candidate will have:
- A recognised qualification in accounting or finance.
- Proven experience in management accounting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial systems and software.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate financial concepts clearly.
