We are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join an established team in the hospitality industry. This permanent role is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne and involves managing financial processes to support business operations effectively.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis to support decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and business plans.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Collaborate with other departments to manage financial performance and provide insights.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes where required.
• Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Demonstrable experience as a Management Accountant.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate financial insights clearly.
