Management Accountant
A part qualified management accountant is sough to join this leading provider and innovator of engineered, analytical sensor monitoring solutions for water and gas applications based in Oldham.
Operating on a global scale within the utilities, food and drinks and healthcare sector the business is looking to expand its fast growing finance team, by hiring a management accountant. The business is pioneers in the development and deployment of bespoke, industry leading products and solutions.
You will be part of a talented team of individuals who strive to bring out the best in one another.
Reporting to the account manager your duties will include:
- Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.
- Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments, and similar accounting entries.
- Preparing the analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and presenting findings.
- Preparing statutory accounts and year ends.
- Processing and raising invoices and bills.
- Dealing with working capital management and production of cash flow forecasts.
- Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting, and reforecast processes.
- Report generation
- VAT management and reporting.
- Ideally you will be a finalist or part qualified (ACCA/ACA)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and numerical skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Previous experience in the preparation of year ends accounts
- Salary up to \xc2\xa340,000 DOE
- Flexible working
