Job Description
Grafton Banks Finance is pleased to be supporting a large, diversified PE backed group based close to Orpington with the recruitment of a Management Accountant. They are investing heavily into the local finance team in Kent and this role will play a pivotal role within finance, but also liaison with senior stakeholders throughout the business.
Role to include:
- Processing monthly contract accounting
- Project credit control
- Labour allocations, staff utilisation
- Ensuring costing accuracy
- Ensuring the correct IT set-up of new projects and employees
- Budgeting and re-forecasting
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assist with ensuring full VAT, CIS, PAYE compliance
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA part-qualified or qualified by experience.
- Experience of contract/project accounting (desirable, not essential)
- Strong IT skills
- Good relationship builder and enjoys working with finance and non-finance staff
- Advanced Excel.
