The role of Management Accountant in the property industry requires expertise in management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis to support business decisions. Based in Stansted, this permanent position is ideal for an individual with a strong foundation in accounting and finance.

• Prepare accurate financial reports and management accounts in accordance with company standards.
• Oversee management accounts, including month -end & year-end
• Oversee budgeting processes and provide variance analysis to support strategic planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Support cash flow forecasting and monitor financial performance metrics.
• Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Assist in year-end audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports to support business decision-making.

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Experience working within the property industry is desirable but not essential.
