Job Description
I am recruiting on behalf of an education client, who are looking for an interim Management Accountant. The position focuses on delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making processes
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing detailed analysis and insights.
- Maintain and reconcile financial records in accordance with organisational policies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for stakeholders and external bodies.
- Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational guidelines.
- Collaborate with various departments to provide financial support and advice.
- Contribute to process improvements within the Accounting & Finance department.
The successful Management Accountant will have:
- A recognised qualification or actively studying in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience in the field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial systems and software.
- Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
- Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes.
- An understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Full time role + Temporary until March 2026 + Paying 40-45k + Immediate start available + Weekly pay
