This role as a Management Accountant offers a fantastic opportunity for an individual to contribute to the financial operations of a leading organisation in the industrial and manufacturing sector. • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with the finance team to produce forecasts and budgets.
• Oversee cost and variance analysis to support financial decision-making.
• Provide financial insights to support business strategies and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Assist in year-end audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
• Support process improvements within the accounting and finance department.
• Deliver ad hoc financial reports as requested by senior management.

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Strong experience in management accounting within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
