An established organisation in its sector is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role offers a competitive salary of up to 38,000 alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
In this Management Accountant role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting senior finance colleagues by preparing and reviewing financial management reports
• Analysing financial information to highlight trends and provide insights to aid strategic decisions
• Assisting in the creation and maintenance of budgets and forecasts to support effective financial planning
• Collaborating with various teams to monitor spending and suggest efficiency improvements
• Ensuring adherence to financial policies and relevant regulatory requirements
• Helping with statutory financial statement preparation and assisting with audit activities
• Identifying opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance internal controls

To be successful in this position, you will ideally possess:

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or be part-qualified and progressing towards completion
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to communicate financial data clearly to diverse audiences
• Experience with financial software systems and advanced skills in Excel
• A meticulous and proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
• A valid driver's licence as the role requires the ability to travel independently

This Management Accountant role is based in a location easily commutable from Malton, Pickering, Helmsley, Norton-on-Derwent, and Kirkbymoorside. The organisation offers convenient on-site parking.
