Job role / duties

• Prepare and analyse weekly and month-end margin reports
• Review overhead costs to ensure all relevant expenses are accurately captured
• Identify and investigate variances against budget.
• Analyse manufacturing costs, including yield performance.
• Collaborate with the Operations team to identify issues and drive cost efficiencies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve stock control processes and enhance stock turn performance.
• Support the business with budgeting and to produce regular forecasts
• Produce daily and monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports.
• Partner with departments to interpret data and drive continuous improvement.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance and streamline reporting processes, ensuring outputs provide actionable insights for the business.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly and year-end financial reports, including the IDL pack, intercompany reconciliations, and notes to the accounts.
• Maintain and manage the fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting policies.
• Lead the preparation and coordination of the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors and internal stakeholders.

To be considered fore this important role, you MUST

• Be CIMA qualified
• Possess experience in management accounting, reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Be highly analytical
• Have advanced MS Excel and ERP system ability
• Be an exceptional, verbal & written communicator
• Have worked within the manufacturing sector
• Be focused on process improvement
