We are currently partnering with a Retail organisation in Reading and recruiting for a skilled Management Accountant to join the finance team. This role requires expertise in Accounting & Finance to support financial planning and reporting processes effectively.
The Management Accountant duties will include:

• Take ownership of all transactional month end processes.
• Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports to support business decisions.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Accounting & Finance department.

Are you an experienced Management Accountant?Do you know the transactional month end processes inside and out?
A successful Management Accountant should have the following :

• Part qualified in CIMA or ACCA.
• Proven experience in transactional month end processes.
• Demonstrable exposure to financial reporting and analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines effectively.
• Knowledge of current accounting standards and regulations.
