About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join the school's finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes, ensuring the smooth and effective management of the school's financial operations.
Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Supporting the annual budget and forecast process
• Monitoring expenditure and ensuring compliance with financial policies
• Assisting with audits, payroll, and reconciliations
• Providing financial insight to the senior leadership and governors

Experience and Qualifications

• Proven experience in a management accounting or finance role, ideally within an educational or charitable setting
• Professional qualification (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or working towards one
• Strong numerical, analytical, and IT skills, with proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines
