Management Accountant | Wirral| 55,000 - 60,000
Delighted to be working with an exciting business in the Wirral area, in order to add the support of a Management Accountant to their growing team. Working closely with the Finance Director and commercial finance team, you will have hands on responsibility for ensuring the production of the monthly board pack and accurate reporting of financial performance.
Main duties will include;

• Lead financial reporting and analysis for multiple business units
• Prepare and review management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
• Provide detailed variance analysis with insightful commentary
• Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, and financial controls
• Drive process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
• Manage and mentor junior finance team members
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Business partner with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making

Candidate Profile:

• Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA with significant post-qualification experience
• Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
• Proven ability to business partner with senior stakeholders
• Experience in managing and improving financial processes
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
• Proficient in financial systems and reporting tools
