We are looking to recruit a Management Accounts Assistant to join our team at a well-established UK steelwork construction company.
This is an early career role which offers the opportunity to be part of a supportive finance team and to work closely with both the Commercial and Works management teams.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to support our Finance function.
Key responsibilities will include assisting with the preparation of daily and weekly financial reports and monthly management accounts. The role will also involve supporting a range of finance-related tasks, including:
Sales ledger maintenance
Standard costing
Fixed asset management
Monthly journal entries
Nominal ledger analysis and reconciliations
The role is a full time role based in our Poole office.
Applicant
Previous experience in a finance office is preferred, particularly in an engineering or construction environment, but not essential. Applicants should have:
Good Excel skills
Strong attention to detail
Reliable administrative abilities
Clear communication skills
You should be comfortable working as part of a team and able to support others when needed. A methodical and organised approach, along with a willingness to learn, will be important for this role.
