We are seeking a committed and experienced individual to join our management team in a hands-on role supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day running of our busy, community-focused pub.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality to help drive standards, service and sales.
Key responsibilities:
Lead shifts and complete end of day cash ups
Train, supervise and motivate staff
Manage stock levels and minimise wastage
Place orders and receive deliveries
Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the pub
Ensure excellent customer service at all times
Promote the business through social media and online platforms
Organise and support events and entertainment to boost trade
Act as the responsible person in the absence of the General Manager
What we're looking for:
Hard working, punctual and reliable
Organised and able to perform under pressure
Friendly and professional with customers
Excellent attention to detail
Previous experience working in a pub or similar hospitality setting
Proven leadership or supervisory experience
A team player who can also work independently
Requirements:
Full time availability (minimum 36 hours per week across 5 day)
Flexibility to work any 5 out of 7 days, including evenings, weekends and late finishes
Shift times vary between 11am-12:30am
Salary:
Up to 35,000 per year depending on experience.
