Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, reliable and experienced Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our popular Chip Shop. The ideal candidate will have Chip Shop Frying and Management experience and possess strong leadership qualities along with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of food prep and service, manage a fantastic team of staff, drive sales, and maintain high standards of food safety and good shop hygiene .

Duties

Supervise and manage shop staff, fostering a positive team environment Oversee daily operations, including inventory management and food prep and service Work as a hands on member of the team being able to fry to a high standard Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure customer satisfaction Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, completing food safety documentation and reporting Monitor stock levels and place orders as necessary Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the shop Communicate effectively with customers and staff, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette

Excellent organisation skills Proven management experience with a focus on Chip Shop or Fast Food environments Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate a team Exceptional communication skills for clear interaction with customers and staff Proficient in Frying techniques to enhance product presentation Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively Organisational skills to maintain an orderly chip shop environment Administrative experience to handle paperwork efficiently
