Overview:
What's The Role
The B2B Vendor & Outsourcing Manager - Service Implementation & Delivery is responsible for overseeing all third-party vendors, subcontractors and outsourced partners engaged in delivering network, IP, Voice, UC and security projects. This includes managing specialized vendors delivering non-standard or custom solutions, as well as partners providing outsourced operational functions (e.g. vulnerability and threat assessment, logical configurations support). The role ensures that all external parties meet contractual obligations, deliver to agreed service levels, and contribute positively to project timelines, quality benchmarks, and profitability targets. What You'll Do
Vendor & Outsourcing Strategy

  • Develop and maintain a preferred vendor and outsourcing partner portfolio aligned to SID's technology and service delivery roadmap
  • Identify, onboard and manage specialized vendors for non-standard/custom solutions (e.g. unique hardware/software integrations, bespoke configurations, or client-specific deployments).
  • Source and manage outsourced service providers for operational functions such as project scheduling, installation crews, field surveys, staging/configuration, and managed network monitoring.
Contract & SLA Management
  • Structure contracts, service level agreements (SLAs) and statements of work (SOWs) for both traditional vendors and outsourced functions
  • Ensure contractual coverage for performance guarantees, quality standards, data security, and compliance.
  • Track renewals, cost terms, and enforce penalties for underperformance or delays.
Performance Monitoring & Delivery Assurance
  • Define KPIs for vendors and outsources partners, measuring on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness, and cost control.
  • Conduct regular scorecard reviews and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key partners.
  • Monitor progress of non-standard solution implementations, ensuring integration with the broader delivery plan
P&L and Financial Impact
  • Manage vendor and outsourcing spend in line with project budgets and forecast targets.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through vendor consolidation, competitive sourcing, or outsourcing efficiencies.
  • Evaluate vendor/partner impact on time-to-revenue and contribution margins, and adjust sourcing strategies to protect P&L
Risk & Compliance Management
  • Assess and mitigate risks related to vendor/outsourcing performance, regulatory compliance, and data protection.
  • Ensure outsourced functions adhere to security, safety and quality standards
  • Maintain an active vendor/outsourcing risk register with mitigation plans.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work closely with project managers, engineering, procurement and commercial teams to match vendors/outsourced partners with project needs
  • Serve as a central escalation point for external delivery issues
  • Communicate clearly between internal teams and vendors to ensure requirements are fully understood and executed.

Preferred Education/Qualifications:
Specific Knowledge/Experience/Software/Apps:
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related field
  • Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills
  • PMP, PgMP or PRINCE2 certification advantageous
  • Experience managing non-standard/custom technical solutions and outsourced operational functions
  • Agile certifications are a strong plus
  • 5+ years of experience in vendor, outsourcing or partner management, preferably in telecoms or technology delivery.
  • Proficient in performance reporting and using service delivery tools (e.g. SCCD, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven track record in multi-vendor, multi-partner environments
