Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality or food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary and kitchen experience, and a proven track record in supervising teams. This role involves managing food preparation, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering exceptional customer service to maintain the organisation's reputation for excellence. The Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive work environment, maintaining high standards of quality, and ensuring efficient service delivery.

Duties



Lead and supervise the daily operations of the restaurant or hospitality venue, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and quality in all culinary offerings. Manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to promote team development. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of operation. Coordinate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service experiences. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste. Implement operational policies and procedures to optimise efficiency and profitability. Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally to uphold the organisation's reputation. Assist in menu planning and development in collaboration with chefs or culinary teams. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.

Experience



Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting. Extensive culinary experience including food preparation, cooking, and food production techniques. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative environment. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential. Experience in managing food service operations such as serving or barista roles is advantageous. Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Pay: From 12.68 per hour
