Superstars is a highly successful, innovative and growing Charity/Social Enterprise based in the centre of Cookstown. Established over twenty years ago, Superstars is a well-known organisation throughout the whole of Northern Ireland.

Founded to address the gaping lack of provision for people with learning disabilities on leaving school, Superstars provides life enhancing opportunities not available elsewhere. Our projects deliver the very best outcomes for people with learning disabilities. Other providers, politicians and even royalty have 'beaten a track' to our door to see our work in action.

The Job

This is a key leadership role for an outstanding individual who will take Superstars to the next level in term of service provision and funding. We are seeking someone with real passion and energy who will bring new ideas to the table while also ensuring seamless delivery of existing services.

The scope of our activities is broad and exciting. This is a role for someone with the capability to lead and take ownership for our programme including:

Daytime Activities:

running the Cafe and Bakery

overseeing multiple social enterprises including contracts with private and

public sector organisations. Our daytime activities are designed to provide

purpose, skills and real income.

Evening Activities:

sports clubs, drama group which presents a Show annually in the Burnavon,

our highly celebrated May Ball and Christmas Dinner, as well as barbecues

discos throughout the year.

Our normal working week runs from Tuesday to Saturday.

The Manager will be responsible for:

The overall management, monitoring and front-line delivery of all the work of Superstars on a day to day basis.

Ensuing the policies and training are up to date in relation with working with vulnerable adults

including AccessNi legislation.

Ensuring compliance with relevant environmental, health and safety regulations.

Financial records with experience in successfully preparing funding applications and leading

fundraising initiativies.

They will reinforce the ethos strongly held a Superstars which is that people with learning disabilities have a right to continue to learn into adulthood, with the right level of support!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to 38,480.00 per year
