Candela develops products for the global aesthetic market. These products begin as concepts developed by Candela's world-class team of scientists and engineers or as acquired or licensed technologies that Candela then completes the development and/or commercialization of. These programs are supported by Candela's global clinical, regulatory, and quality teams and are managed through our Product Development Process (PDP) and Quality Management System (QMS).


The Company's headquarters are in Marlborough, Massachusetts, US, with and additional R&D facility in Yokneam, Israel and commercial locations across Asia Pacific, and Europe. Products are sold direct in 18 countries worldwide and through distributors in over 60 others and are supported by field service, clinical education, marketing development organizations and distributorship arrangements.

Position Summary




The Manager, Data and Analytics will be a pivotal resource responsible for driving financial analysis and managing key projects across the organization, including in the areas of Financial and Data Analytics, Information Technology and Business Development.


This role requires a strong blend of business and financial expertise and project management discipline, as well as strong interpersonal skills that enable cross-functional collaboration, including with members of senior management and their teams.

Key Responsibilities



Financial Analysis & Planning

: Conduct financial analyses for internal business initiatives and for new product development and business opportunities (e.g. M&A due diligence), including cost-benefit analyses, ROI calculations, budgeting, and forecasting.

Business Development Support

: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to assess market needs, financial feasibility, and commercialization strategies for new opportunities, including feasibility studies and market analysis.

Reporting & Compliance

: Prepare detailed financial and project reports as designed, or on an ad hoc basis, for senior management and stakeholders. Ensure all project and financial activities adhere to internal controls, legal, and financial policies.

Project Management

: Support cross-functional project teams and assist in defining project scope, timelines, and resource requirements. Aid in tracking key project deliverables from inception to completion, and support teams to manage risks, monitor progress and ensuring projects deliver expected results or ROI.

Qualifications



Education

:

Bachelor's degree

, with emphasis in Economics, Finance or Business Administration or a related field preferred.

Experience

: A minimum of

1-3 years

in a finance, business strategy or project management related role (e.g., financial analyst). Background in investment banking, private equity or management consulting preferred.

Certifications

: Professional certifications such as

Project Management Professional (PMP)

, Certified Public Accountant (

CPA

), or Chartered Financial Analyst (

CFA

) are a strong asset.
