We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality or food service establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and managing overall restaurant or hotel functions. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise team members, including chefs, servers, and support staff, to ensure smooth operational flow
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
Manage daily operations, including customer service, and staff scheduling
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety standards
Assist in training staff on food production, serving techniques, and hospitality protocols
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely stock replenishment
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction
Implement organisational policies to optimise efficiency and service delivery
Support marketing initiatives and special event planning as required
Requirements
Proven supervising experience within a fish and chip shop, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
Familiarity with restaurant management systems and hospitality software
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
Good communication skills in British English; personable and professional demeanour
Previous experience in serving or front of house is essential
Relevant qualifications in hospitality management preferred
