We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality or food service establishment. Duties
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring smooth operation
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to foster a motivated team environment
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold hygiene standards across all areas
Assist in training new employees and providing ongoing professional development for existing team members
Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control efficiently
Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction
Collaborate with senior management on menu planning, promotional activities, and operational improvements
Skills
Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices
Experience in food safety protocols and food production processes
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers
Background in restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable; barista or serving experience is advantageous
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
