We are seeking an experienced and results-driven

Retail Manager

to oversee daily operations within our retail store. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent sales and customer service expertise, and a passion for driving business performance. This role involves managing staff, maintaining store standards, overseeing inventory, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for customers. The successful applicant will play a key role in building a positive team culture and achieving operational and sales excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and motivate retail staff to ensure smooth daily store operations Oversee sales activities and ensure targets and KPIs are consistently met Manage staff scheduling, task delegation, and performance monitoring Ensure excellent customer service standards are upheld at all times Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and issues professionally and efficiently Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, and loss prevention Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and visual merchandising standards Train and develop staff in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service best practices Monitor store appearance, cleanliness, and product displays Assist in planning promotions, sales campaigns, and merchandising strategies to drive foot traffic and revenue
Experience

Proven supervisory or management experience in a retail environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire diverse teams Excellent customer service and sales skills Experience in inventory management and stock control Ability to analyze sales performance and implement improvement strategies Previous experience as a store manager, assistant manager, or retail supervisor preferred Familiarity with POS systems and retail operations is an advantage
