Job Summary





What is the opportunity?




The Manager role forms a key part of the Wealth Management Europe ('WME') Financial Control ('FC') team and is responsible for ensuring that the end-to-end financial control framework that supports the production of an IFRS compliant Balance Sheets and Income Statements.


The role will be responsible for managing any assigned direct reports (1 to 2 people), supporting FC and change management activities for all WME business, whilst also ensuring a robust control environment.


The role will require partnering with the business and functions for where issues have been identified, to ensure appropriate actions plans are implemented and managed effectively.

What do you need to succeed?



Must-have



Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA (or by experience) with undergraduate degree in quantitative fields and suitable financial services work experience or similar/equivalent The incumbent should have solid knowledge of the accounting treatment of banking products and IFRS 9 Solid understand of the control framework Strong IT skills, and in particular advanced Excel is essential Demonstrate leadership abilities.

Nice-to-have



Experience working with Oracle PeopleSoft, TM1, Murex, Murex, RIBS, or RIMMS.
