The Team




The EMEA Finance Team supports offices across Europe and the Middle East as part of the shared service function. The Financial Reporting team forms part of the overall EMEA Finance team and is responsible for all financial accounting, reporting and compliance requirements for the EMEA entities including but not limited to month end close, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations and statutory and compliance filings (VAT, Financial Statements, and so on). The role includes forming collaborative partnerships with stakeholders including but not limited to external advisors, auditors and A&M colleagues

How you will contribute




Joining an established finance team based in the European Head Office in London, the Manager Financial Reporting reports to the Director of EMEA Corporate Accounting and will be responsible for:


Month end - GAAP

Completing monthly close to global deadlines including preparation and posting of month- end journals Preparation / review of monthly management accounts reconciliations and variance analysis, including timely resolution of differences Preparation / review and settlement of intercompany invoices

Monthly local statutory accounts, fiscal and compliance

Take responsibility for the preparation of various UK and non-UK financial statements and statutory accounts as required. Entities in the EMEA Group include a combination of LLPs, Limited and Holding companies Support EMEA Group audit and financial statements preparation and reporting to ensure timely completion and filing Partner with colleagues to ensure consistency of process, approach and accounting treatments are adopted across all entities as appropriate On a monthly basis review and reconcile local GAAP / management accounts, understand differences and where appropriate adjust GAAP and/or local books as required Lead the preparation and review of VAT return (s) and support on VAT compliance matters as required Build strong external relationships with the wider A&M business, also external advisors, including auditors and local accountants

Other

Support the preparation of other fiscal returns e.g. Corporation Tax, PSA, Statistical Returns etc Support and partner with the wider Finance Team; Accounts Payable, Billing, Treasury and Payroll and other functional areas Partner with tax colleagues to ensure CIT returns, withholding tax and transfer pricing obligations are met Support the implementation and roll out of local country e-invoicing process' and integration as required Assist on ad-hoc projects as required Support the development and mentoring of junior team members Be a positive brand ambassador for Finance Ensuring a robust control environment is operated and maintained

Qualifications



Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA desirable) with 3 to 5 years PQE, ideally in a professional services industry or similar Previous experience operating in an international multi-site business with exposure to FX transactions Experience of overseeing the preparation of local GAAP financial statements, in addition to the preparation group financial statements Consolidation preparation experience is advantageous Experience in VAT preparation, review and submission (EMEA and UK) Robust technical knowledge Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel (V-Look ups/Pivots etc) Demonstrable ability to meet deadlines, results orientated and "can do" attitude A natural team player who can interacting easily with colleagues Build collaborative, positive relationships with other members of the EMEA Finance team and other business stakeholders to support one another to resolve queries and support the growth and evolution of the organization Strong communication skills
