About the Role
As our Cafe Manager, you'll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the cafe. You'll support and motivate staff, maintain high service standards, and ensure that customers enjoy excellent food, drinks, and friendly service.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily cafe operations
Lead, train, and support the front-of-house team
Maintain exceptional customer service and handle any issues confidently
Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships
Monitor costs, waste, and overall cafe performance
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
Create staff rotas and manage general HR tasks such as hiring and onboarding
Assist with menu rollouts, new ideas, and seasonal promotions
About You
Previous experience in a cafe or hospitality management role
Strong communication and leadership skills
Passion for great service and a welcoming customer experience
Organised, reliable, and able to stay calm during busy periods
Proactive, positive, and good at problem-solving
Flexible to work a mix of weekdays and weekends
