Bar 42 is looking for an experienced Manager to launch Daytime openings and oversee the evening bar operation!!

Previous experience overseeing cafe and or bar essential, Barista training essential.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of staff. Oversee food and beverage ordering and execution Manage team schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and motivate staff to achieve performance targets Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control stock to minimise waste Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction Assist in training new staff members in food preparation, service procedures, and safety protocols Implement operational policies and procedures aligned with organisational goals

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure Exceptional communication skills to liaise with staff and customers alike Experience in food production management and kitchen operations is highly desirable Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and resolve conflicts diplomatically Previous experience serving or working in hospitality environments such as hotels or restaurants is advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.50-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
