Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Manager in Training to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to develop their leadership skills. As a Manager in Training, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of pub management, including food preparation, team management, and customer service. This position offers an opportunity to learn from an experienced owner, how to run the business in full with the view to taking it over and running it yourself .

Duties

Assist in supervising daily operations to ensure high standards of service and quality. Support food preparation and production processes while adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain consistency in food presentation and taste. Help manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Train and mentor new staff members, fostering a positive team environment. Engage with customers to enhance their dining experience and address any concerns. Participate in staff meetings and contribute ideas for improving operational efficiency.

Experience

Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred, particularly in roles related to food service and/or preparation, front of house service. Supervisory skills with a focus on team management and development. Experience in bartending is a plus but not essential. A passion for helping others and delivering exceptional customer service.
