Job Description

Scotbet are Scotland's leading independent bookmakers with 18 shops across the country.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Betting Shop Manager to provide weekly cover between our shops in Loanhead & Newtongrange.

The Manger is responsible for the day-to-day running of the shop, these responsibilities include

-The taking & processing of bets

-Helping with all customer enquiries

-Ensuring all Safer Gambling & Compliance procedures are completed

-Adhering to our cash handling & security procedures

-Maintaining our high standards

We are open 7 days a week and can offer either 3 days or 4 days a week on a rolling rota.

The shops are open from 10AM until 9.00PM Monday to Friday from April to August & 10AM until 8PM September to March and 10.30AM until 6PM on Sundays all year. Saturdays are 9AM - 8PM (Winter), 9AM -9PM (Summer).

An interest in sports or knowledge of betting is not essential as full training will be given

Due to licensing laws you must be 18 or over to work in our shops.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
