Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and materials through the supply chain, ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes. This position requires strong organisational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Oversee daily logistics operations, including shipping & receiving activities. Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems. Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to optimise transportation management. Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Conduct data analysis to identify trends and improve logistics performance. Utilise category management strategies to streamline supply chain processes. Assist in materials handling, including picking & packing orders accurately and efficiently. Operate forklifts safely to move goods within the warehouse environment. Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

Proven experience in logistics or supply chain roles, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations. Familiarity with transportation management systems and AS400 software is advantageous. Excellent data analysis skills to support decision-making processes. Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Previous experience in materials handling, including operating forklifts, is preferred. Knowledge of process improvement methodologies is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
