About the role:

Working across the No7 BC brand portfolio, including Soap & Glory, No7, Botanics and Sleek, the Copy Team work with nearly every department in the business and receive briefs across a variety of platforms. This includes lead creative for in-store and online campaigns, emails, digital content, blogs, printed literature, social media, event signage, visual merchandising, press releases, product and packaging copy, scripts and sub titles and much more. Experience working with multiple TOVs is ideal, as well as writing content for digital platforms - and of course a knowledge of SEO!

The role works collaboratively to ensure the copy across all channels is on brand. These assets can include: product and packaging copy, mass personalisation assets for social, media, VM collateral, digital content, press literature plus internal comms - and anything in between. The role will help to plan and execute the timely delivery of copy across all channels of the business through effective time and process management, working closely with teams across the business, including Brand and Channel Managers, CRM, VM, NPD, PR, Digital, Creative and on any projects requiring copy input.

  • Managing and mentoring the Midweight Copywriter
  • Editing and proofing alongside the Copy Manager to guard and champion brand tone of voice
  • Planning and researching - sharing ideas and developing themes for comms
  • Occasional admin of copy processes
About you:

To be successful, the Senior Copywriter must pro-actively manage work from brief to delivery in a timely manner. They will work closely and effectively with all relevant stakeholders, negotiating with them and managing their expectations to ensure content is both editorially and commercially viable, while producing engaging copy to inform and delight customers.

- Degree level education required (ideally in English language, journalism or similar)
- 5-6 years + copywriting experience required, ideally within the beauty, fashion or lifestyle industries
- Self-starter with proven ability to work on own initiative and deadlines and adept at managing changing timelines and last-minute briefs
- Excellent writing abilities across a range of online/offline channels with good attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Excellent research skills and organisational abilities
