Duties

Lead and manage daily operations within the kitchen and service areas, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations. Supervise food preparation and presentation, maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene. Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve excellence in service delivery. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to develop menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections of the kitchen and dining areas. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution that enhances guest satisfaction. Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and team performance.

Experience

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or food production industry is essential. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards. Previous experience in bartending or as a cook is advantageous. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with staff and customers alike.
