Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality or food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and a proven track record in supervising teams. This role involves managing food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are upheld, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency while fostering a positive working environment.

Duties



Lead and supervise the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth operational flow Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and quality standards Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance appraisals to optimise team productivity Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas Coordinate with suppliers for procurement of ingredients and supplies, maintaining stock levels Monitor customer service delivery, addressing any issues promptly to uphold service excellence Implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the establishment, adhering to health & safety guidelines Assist in menu planning and development in collaboration with culinary staff Handle administrative tasks such as budgeting, reporting, and inventory management

Experience



Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork Experience in food safety protocols, food production processes, and kitchen operations Background in hospitality management or related fields is desirable Previous roles involving restaurant or hotel experience are highly advantageous Familiarity with serving standards, barista experience, or bar management is a plus Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent organisational skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-20.00 per hour
