The Role




The Media and Social Strategy Manager defines and owns all media and social strategies across the AEU Region (Asia, Europe & UKI) within Employer Brand Consulting. Working closely with the Client Relationship Manager and Client Partner, they will develop brand strategies that focus on the use of media and social either as standalone campaigns or as an 'always on' strategy.



They will ensure delivery against scope, budget and creative brief, working with Client Service and Delivery teams, plus the AMS Digital Media Hub to oversee effective delivery and accurate reporting.



They effectively execute strategies, problem-solve, and develop solid business relationships both with client stakeholder and internally across the team and wider AMS colleagues.



They have a deep knowledge of media and social media platforms and provide insights to help drive innovation, as well as providing channel and format expertise to help inform creative and content.



They also support the Head of Employer Brand and Senior Managers to where media and social insights are required to help achieve the growth strategy.



Reports to the Senior Manager for Client Service and Growth (Career Level 5).

Key Accountabilities



Client & Growth




Deliver end-to-end media and social strategies aligned to client objectives, ensuring measurable ROI. Provide data-led recommendations, briefs, reporting, and optimisation in partnership with CRMs and project teams. Manage relationships with media and social platforms/providers; advise on adoption of best-fit solutions. Standardise strategy and reporting approaches to drive scalability and efficiency. Lead client meetings, presentations, and contribute to pitches/new business opportunities.

Insights, Strategy & Innovation




Track and share latest media and social trends, platforms, and providers across the region. Drive innovation in attraction strategies, collaborating with Client Service, Creative, and Talent Attraction teams. Support team ideation, knowledge-sharing, and Employer Brand Consulting's own promotion.

Operations & Commercial




Ensure accurate reporting, data integrity, and compliance with mandatory training. Contribute to project financial health through effective time tracking and utilisation targets. Onboard and embed processes/tools (e.g., Monday.com), ensuring best practice in delivery. Brief and manage external suppliers where required.





Skills & Experience



Critical Knowledge, Skills and Experience




Experience in media and social strategy, specifically within the UK, Europe and India, across professional hiring and Early Talent Experience of both paid and organic social media strategy and the ability to inform development of effective content strategies Data analysis and reporting skills with the ability to analyse, interpret data to measure campaign effectiveness, ROI and make data-driven recommendations for optimization Ability to seek out media and social trends and the latest innovations to provide insights both internally and to clients Attention to detail with strong desire for accuracy and quality Experience in producing and delivering presentations and reports to senior stakeholders both internal and external

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience




Relevant previous experience within a similar employer brand/ talent, communications, advertising or brand agency environment Experience in a client-facing media and social strategy role Experience of working with remote teams Extensive knowledge of all Microsoft platforms, particularly PowerPoint Experience presenting in client and new business meetings Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Driven, open-minded and passionate
