This role requires a hands-on approach to team management, kitchen operations, and customer satisfaction.
Duties
Lead and manage restaurant staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Oversee food service to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Develop menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
Train and mentor team members in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service skills.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery to guests.
Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Experience
Proven experience in a managerial role within the culinary or hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
Proficiency in food preparation and production techniques, with an understanding of culinary arts.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for kitchen operations.
Experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with staff and customers alike.
