We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee operations within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, with a focus on maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to effectively supervise and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all aspects of service meet our guests' expectations.
Duties
Oversee daily operations within the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Manage food production processes, including preparation, cooking, and presentation, to maintain quality standards.
Supervise and train staff in food safety practices, kitchen procedures, and customer service excellence.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients while managing inventory levels effectively.
Develop and implement training programmes for team members to enhance skills in bartending, food preparation, and service.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
Handle customer feedback professionally, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Monitor financial performance by managing budgets, controlling costs, and maximising profitability.
Requirements
Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in restaurants or hotels.
Strong knowledge of food production techniques and food safety regulations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Experience in supervising staff within a kitchen or bar setting is highly desirable.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers alike.
