Position Summary



Marriott International's Premium Brand portfolio represents a dynamic collection of upper-upscale and longer stay hotels designed to deliver elevated experiences for today's modern traveler. These brands -- including in EMEA Marriott Hotels, Sheraton, Delta Hotels by Marriott, Marriott Executive Apartments, Le Meridien, Renaissance, Westin and Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy -- combine aspirational and flexible design, attentive service, and thoughtful brand programming, delighting where it matters across global markets.


For the EMEA Premium Brands portfolio, the Manager will focus on brand management, including brand culture, openings, supporting brand strategy initiatives, and end-to-end experience design. The position works closely with the Director Premium Brands, Senior Manager Premium Brands, and reports directly to the Sr. Director Premium Brands, EMEA.


The Manager Premium Brands, EMEA provides support to the Premium Brands team on a variety of cross-brand projects and initiatives while leading individual projects such as brand immersions, brand culture, and special projects. The position will have an ongoing role in the development of brand standards, brand webinars, brand training, brand presentations, and brand immersions. The role will collaborate with continent stakeholders including L&D, Operations, F&B, Openings & Transitions, Global Design, and Commercial Services teams.

Key Responsibilities



Brand Culture



Drives key initiatives and projects related to associate engagement and brand talent & culture programs for the Premium Brands portfolio in EMEA. Oversees brand immersions, brand management communication plans, and General Manager webinar schedules.

ITR (Guest Experience)



Supports the end-to-end guest experience to ensure brand programming, standards, and proof points align with the Premium segment and support positive guest satisfaction.

Growth



Supports continent efforts to drive growth and transformation of the Premium Brands portfolio by working closely with the Sr. Director and Director Premium Brands, L&D, and Pre-Opening teams.

Brand Management Plans



Partners with other Premium Brands team members to plan and execute impactful brand management plans and budgets for the EMEA portfolio.

Expected Contributions



Brand Management



Brand transformations. Consumer insights and trends analysis. Competitor data and research.

Brand Activation



Supports brand partnerships focused on guest experience. Oversees brand visual identity and collateral. Develops and maintains branded toolkits.

Brand Culture



Leads brand immersions, segment education, and talent & culture programs. Drives associate activation initiatives.

Portfolio Growth



Creates brand content supporting development efforts. Supports reporting on portfolio pipeline, openings, and performance data. Provides ad hoc brand immersions and collaboration with L&D and Pre-Opening teams for new openings and market entries.

Hotel Openings



Provides brand support for pre-openings and conversions. Coordinates brand immersions and onboarding.

Branded Guest Experience



Develops brand proof points for guest journeys. Drives service and culture initiatives. Identifies and enhances brand differentiators. Ensures brand standards and initiatives are effectively implemented. Partners with F&B and Operations teams on collaboration opportunities.

Other Responsibilities



Performs other related tasks as assigned by management. Complies with Marriott Regional Office policies and procedures.

Candidate Profile



Key Talents and Experience Desired



Lodging industry experience is strongly preferred. Prior brand management or operations experience beneficial. Experience partnering with global brand management and marketing teams is strongly preferred. Excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities across all organizational levels. Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships, including owners and senior leaders. Strong team player with the ability to foster collaboration across disciplines.

Skills and Competencies



Demonstrates self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm. Adapts programs and activities to meet local market and cultural needs. Proactive and able to work independently. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of brand building, differentiation, and consumer insights. Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills. Proficiency with standard software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Teams). Willingness to travel up to 50% across EMEA.
