The Manager, Humanitarian & Development, Platforms assists in aligning strategic goals and decisions regarding products and services; partners and suppliers; organization; capabilities; and key business and IT initiatives using a cohesive framework. The H&D Platforms team must be able to support innovation projects, dynamically consult and manage both business and technical facets for the solution delivery, transition from business to functional requirements, and also, lead internal and external partners towards a successful solution delivery.

Role
  • Coordinate cross-product teams, external partners and internal IT/Engineering counterparts to align business needs with technical solutions.
  • Proactively identify and consolidate requirements from multiple sources such as business teams, customers, vendors and market insights to design/create detailed functional requirements, data architecture, transaction flows and business and operational processes.
  • Leverage analysis performed by lower level colleagues and other teams to develop presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform assigned tasks in the product development life cycle, monitor project roadmaps for specific development projects and support budget management.
  • Provide information to technical developers on translating product requirements into technical specifications.
  • Conduct internal User Acceptance Tests of platform releases/functionality being delivered by internal and external development teams.
  • Coordinate activities between suppliers and Mastercard technical and operations teams and facilitate the exchange of information.
  • Document and engage risks and issues, including escalations to management.
  • Support product launches and implementations.
All About You
  • Familiarity with Digital Transformation \xe2\x80\x9cbusiness\xe2\x80\x9d and varying degrees of knowledge of strategy, processes, governance and enabling technologies.
  • The ability to assimilate/correlate various sources of requirements (market needs, segment needs, etc.), document it in functional terms and map against common set of existing capabilities.
  • Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Experience supporting the planning and deployment of both business and IT initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations.
  • The ability to act as a liaison between internal and external business teams and IT/data teams with regards to business strategy and IT strategy, business process and workflow automation, business initiatives and IT initiatives, and benefit realization and service delivery.
  • Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus.
