to drive and implement strategic sales initiatives across the UK and Europe. You will lead and motivate a high-performing sales team, with direct responsibility for revenue growth, business development, alongside directly managing UK online accounts.

Essential Job Duties:
Manages sales team responsible for sales into the UK and Europe from our client distributed publishers
Increases company's market share in UK and Europe marketplaces, across all sales channels.
Manage own portfolio of UK online accounts to generate revenue
Builds relationships with new accounts while maintaining relationships with existing accounts
Work closely with our publishers to support sales into customer accounts
Primary liaison for publishers and client management team for sales and market feedback
Analyses sales and other data to provide insights into the business and to understand trends that may contribute to success.
Interacts extensively with other ICG departments to ensure sales opportunities are maximised to the benefit of ICG.
Reports to senior management regularly on progress toward company's sales goals.
Participates in the planning, implementation and participation at industry trade shows (i.e. Frankfurt Book Fair, London Book Fair, and other regional specific shows)
Provide regular customer, competitor and market feedback to management as required
Qualifications
Experience:
5-7 years experience in sales
3 years sales team management experience
Education:
College / University degree
Skills:
Publisher / book industry experience preferred, but relevant sales experience considered
Proven track record in previous sales role
Knowledge of principles and methods for promoting and selling products or services
Requires sales focused and customer centric approach.
Must possess effective oral and written communication skills and be computer literate.
Must be able to manage workload by establishing priorities; be detail-oriented; and possess the ability to operate successfully within a fast-paced environment.
A flexible approach to work, hours and be adaptable to change are critical attributes.

Essential Physical Demands:
Ability to travel 1-4 times per year outside UK, plus several times within UK
Ability to sit at workstation for extended periods of time
Ability to work effectively using a personal computer for long periods of time
Ability to operate computer equipment, including keyboard and monitor, phone equipment and other necessary office equipment
Ability to maintain consistent, punctual and regular attendance
Ability to maintain full time work schedule during normal company operating hours
