We are a family owned vehicle bodyrepair and service centre established in 1966, and we are seeking a knowledgeable, customer-focused

Manager / Service Advisor

to join our busy vehicle body repair and service centre. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth experience from the initial enquiry through to job completion.

This role requires excellent communication and leadership skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to build lasting relationships with customers. A background in automotive repair or service operations is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities



Greet customers and assess their service or repair needs, providing clear advice and guidance. Prepare detailed service estimates and communicate them transparently to customers. Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely, accurate completion of all work. Upsell additional products and services based on customer needs and vehicle condition. Communicate effectively with insurance companies and work providers. Manage and support office and workshop staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Handle customer complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and repair documentation. Process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further needs. Stay informed about current automotive technologies, repair methods, and service offerings.

Skills & Experience



Experience in a

bodyshop, service centre, or automotive customer service

environment is advantageous but not essential. Strong

leadership

and

communication

skills, with the ability to manage a small team. Proven

upselling

and

customer service

abilities to enhance satisfaction and revenue. Organised, professional, and proactive approach to workload and problem-solving. Competent with

IT systems

and basic

administration tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,000.00-32,000.00 per year
