We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality or food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary and restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food production and service. The Manager will be responsible for fostering a positive team environment and ensuring operational efficiency across all departments.
Duties
Lead and supervise a team of staff, including, servers, and kitchen personnel, Baristas and ensuring smooth daily operations
Oversee food preparation and presentation to uphold quality standards
Manage food safety protocols in accordance with industry regulations and company policies
Coordinate food production schedules to meet customer demand efficiently
Provide training and mentorship to team members to promote professional development
Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining high hospitality standards
Monitor inventory levels and oversee ordering of supplies to prevent shortages
Implement health and safety procedures within the kitchen and dining areas
Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors as needed for procurement purposes
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Strong background in food preparation, barista skills and techniques
Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food safety standards
Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
Experience in food production, serving, or barista roles is advantageous
Knowledge of kitchen operations, hotel experience or hospitality management is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
Strong communication skills with a focus on team management and customer service excellence
