Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in a warehouse environment, demonstrating proficiency with hand and power tools. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage a team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely while maintaining high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily operations within the warehouse, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures. Fabricate and assemble products using hand tools and power tools, ensuring quality standards are met. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and materials as necessary. Train and mentor team members on proper equipment usage, safety practices, and operational efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Coordinate heavy lifting tasks, ensuring that all team members are trained in safe lifting techniques. Maintain accurate records of production output, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance schedules.

Experience

Proven experience in a managerial role within a warehouse or manufacturing environment is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively. Experience in fabricating and assembling products is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. Excellent organisational skills with a focus on detail and quality control. Strong communication skills to effectively lead a team and liaise with other departments.
