We are looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor in Rail to join our Infrastructure team.

What you'll do:



Ensure the scope, notices, terms and conditions of the project are implemented. Lead and develop the contract procedures, payments and variations together with contact entitlements. Administer the Main Contract so Skanska can obtain all of their entitlements and limit contractual risk. Ensure the cost plan and base data is received and integrated into commercial forecasting and reporting procedures and data. Ensure the design management plan reflects affordability. Lead and develop the strategy for the contracted works and the procurement procedures for the package scope, quantification, tender method, negotiation and subcontract documentation.

What you'll bring to the role:



Previous experience of Managing Quantity Surveyor level Detailed working knowledge of construction contract law Experience of working at a commercial capacity within senior management teams MRICS / MCInstCES qualified highly desirable/degree educated in a relevant subject. Previous experience working on major civil engineering/rail infrastructure contracts desirable NEC Contract Experience Desirable - specifically NEC4 Option C Target Cost
