About the Role:



We are seeking an enthusiastic Managing Quality Surveyor to join our Southern Region, based at Thames Valley, to cover projects in Reading, Southampton and Bath. To be capable of working in preconstruction and then managing a team on site with projects ranging from 40- 100m. Build to rent and PBSA experience preferred.

This is a full time, permanent role. Ideally 42.5 hours over 5 days per week, start time 8.30am - finish time 5.30pm.

Duties of the Role:



Promote and achieve early resolution of problems. Strive to eliminate risk. Resolve legal matters. Play an active role in promoting best practice. Aspire to the very highest standards of quality, service and business performance. Ensure accurate reporting Treat client relationships as our most valuable asset. Maintain a high level of Control. Provide commercial support and advice to Contracts Managers/Operations Directors and other team members. Understand and implement all new and updated regulations within the industry. Monitor internal progress and improve where necessary. Report to regional Directors of team's performance. Auditing and approving all reporting and payments prior to final sign off. Ensure all financial aspects and impacts of a Contract are clear to all parties. Production/Management of Tender Bids and Contract Documentation. Management and mentoring of allocated team members including their mentees. Any other duties associated with this position which are related to the objectives of the Company or Team or contribute to individual development

Key Skills & Experience Required:



Early identification of signs/potential issues Ability to take lead/chair meetings and bring parties together. Organisation, communication and problem-solving skills. Excellent construction knowledge Accuracy of administration and compliance with company standards. Knowledge of team member's roles and responsibilities Construction/reporting knowledge Be able to balance and prioritise workload Willingness to continuously learn and develop.
