About the Role:

Our client, Taylor Woodrow, a leading infrastructure and civil engineering specialist, is seeking an experienced Senior or Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a major substation civils project in Friston.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering a critical infrastructure project, ensuring commercial success and compliance throughout the lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all commercial aspects of the project, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting. Oversee subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and management. Ensure accurate valuations, variations, and final accounts. Provide strategic input on risk management and value engineering. Collaborate closely with project teams to maintain financial performance and contractual compliance.

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience as a Senior or Managing Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial management principles. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities effectively. Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
