We are working with a civil engineering contractor who is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. In this senior role, you'll lead on major projects, overseeing commercial strategy and ensuring successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Take full responsibility for the commercial management of major projects.
Lead and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors, ensuring effective delivery and professional development.
Manage procurement, subcontract packages, valuations, and change events.
Monitor commercial risk and contractual compliance (NEC contracts).
Produce accurate cost reports and forecasts to ensure profitability.
Collaborate with operational teams, clients, and stakeholders to build strong relationships.
Requirements
Proven track record working for a civil engineering or infrastructure contractor.
Strong knowledge of NEC forms of contract.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a Similar.
