Job Overview



The Acting Sales Manager is responsible for developing, managing and leading successful sales team to recruit international students in the designated regions.

Tasks include but are not limited to:



Be responsible for implementing Office procedures to ensure the smooth running of the sales office; Manage the sales team by setting clear team objectives, strictly following the operational procedures, sales strategies & company policies, providing team members with constant feedback & regular appraisals, fostering company culture, etc.; Be responsible for effective budget management of the sales office; Take full responsibility for the international student recruitment in designated markets to achieve both personal and the team's signing targets and enrolment targets; Be responsible for annual action plans, monthly & quarterly reports, enrolment summaries, bursary summaries, sales & expenditure reports, etc.; Recruit and develop the team: selecting qualified candidates and providing training to ensure the team members are able to handle students' accounts with high-quality professional consultation and the required sales skills & knowledge; Be responsible for planning and implementing sales office online & offline events such as information sessions, on-campus campaigns, education fairs, university interviews, open days and other relevant recruitment events. Generate analysis repots to assess events' outcomes; Monitor and review all related student application plans and application progress; Maintain high customer satisfaction rate by collecting and consolidating students' needs actively and optimizing customer experience continuously; Collect students' reactions to the Company as well as the competitors' service, packages, prices proactively to support better sales related decisions; Oversee, maintain and manage assets such as petty cash, office furniture, equipment, safe keeping of company stamps, etc.; Ensure that the sales office is compliant with the Company Health & Safety policies, including fire prevention and desk assessments; Assist with sourcing and reviewing suppliers when needed (e.g. energy, mobile/landline suppliers, etc.) to ensure that the company is always getting excellent value for money and service; Maintain sufficient supply of stationery, marketing supplies and equipment for the sales office, and ensure they are in good condition; Coordinate office changes, upgrades and refurbishments; Assist with managing company documents related to administrative management in conjunction with the head office such as office lease, insurance certificates, etc.; Be available for ad hoc and regular company training where necessary and be prepared to deliver information sessions at regular company meetings. Also, be available for university information sessions and familiarisation trips; Perform other ad hoc duties as designated by the line manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experiences:



Considerable previous experience in the international education recruitment industry; Proven experience in managing and leading sales teams and have accomplished team members individual annual sales and enrolment targets; Strong ability in developing and analysing sales markets; Good foresight and competent decision-making ability; Positive and optimistic work attitude; Recognition of culture of driving for success, devotion to work;
Have excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months

Pay: From 34,000.00 per year
