Your New Job Title: Mandarin speaking IT Associate (Banking)

The Skills You Need: Fluent Mandarin and English in writing and speaking, with relevant IT experience

Report to: Head of IT

Location: Central London

To be successful in this role our client has said it is essential that candidates:

• speak and write fluent Mandarin and English
• have a degree in Computing or Engineering related fields
• have relevant IT support / IT operations experience

What You\'ll be Doing Each Day:

• Support London Branch business departments to develop and upgrade applications and functions.
• Project management & Technical support of London Branch business system & Internal management system
• Assist to support branch\xe2\x80\x99s information security work and safeguard branch\xe2\x80\x99s network against cybersecurity events.
• Support London Branch employees with IT requirements to ensure they have the right technology and support for their day-to-day work.
• Support branch IT infrastructure, network and system maintenance.
• In addition to these duties, the Employee may from time to time be required to undertake additional or other duties within his/her capacity as necessary to meet the needs of the bank\'s business.

The skills you need to succeed:

• Written and Spoken Mandarin and English at fluent level
• Degree holder a minimum requirement.
• Major in Computing and/or Engineering related fields.
• Work experience (including internship, part-time experiences).
• Independent problem solving ability.
• Keen to learn new skills and technology.
• Preferable with project management experience.
• Knowledge and experience on Information Security will be a bonus.
• Experience on administering Treasury systems, Banking systems, Accounting systems will be a bonus.
• Knowledge on databases, such as MYSQL, MSSQL, will be a bonus.
• Familiar with VMWare infrastructure and Windows/Linux operating system administration (and/or network engineering) will be a bonus.
