What you'll be doing

Reviewing current processes with a critical eye and suggesting smarter ways of working. Helping turn improvement ideas into real, tangible solutions, not just PowerPoint slides. Supporting new product development with the right tools, processes, and documentation from the start. Creating engineering specs for tooling, collaborating with internal teams and customers to make projects happen. Helping reduce risk by identifying weak points in current processes and proactively solving them. Leading the creation and rollout of engineering standards across different teams. Supporting layout and workflow improvements to make production spaces more efficient and less stressful.

What you might bring to the table

A background in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering, maybe through a degree, an HNC, or solid hands on experience. Experience with process improvement, tooling design, or aerospace manufacturing, but more importantly, an instinct to make things better. An understanding of materials, lean manufacturing, and production principles or a curiosity to learn more. A detail focused mind with a creative edge and the confidence to speak up when something isn't working. Great communication skills, you know how to get people on board with a better way of doing things. Comfort using technical documentation, engineering tools, and digital systems. Most of all, a mindset that says, "If something can be improved, let's do it."
