Novanta Stockport is looking for a Manufacturing Assembly Supervisor to lead our frontline team to new heights of performance and excellence.
Your Mission
As a Manufacturing Assembly Supervisor, you'll be the driving force behind our production floor--guiding, motivating, and developing a talented team to deliver world-class results. You'll ensure that every product meets our high standards, every process runs smoothly, and every team member feels empowered to succeed.
What You'll Be DoingLead & Inspire: Supervise daily activities of the assembly team, setting clear expectations and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Drive Results: Ensure production throughput, quality, and cycle time targets are consistently met or exceeded. Problem Solve: Identify areas for improvement and implement smart, effective solutions. Collaborate: Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless communication and alignment across teams. Champion Safety & Compliance: Uphold company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times. Develop Talent: Mentor and grow your team, building a pipeline of future leaders.

What You BringStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment. Proven ability to lead, support, and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive, action-oriented mindset with a focus on results. Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights and weekends if needed. A passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
