Successful completion of this apprenticeship will provide you with:
Level 2 Apprenticeship as a Furniture CNC specialist, with potential progression to a Level 3 Apprenticeship
An in-depth knowledge of the running and maintenance of a 5-axis Timber CNC and a flatbed CNC
A solid understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace gained from video assessments, competency based training and onsite experience
Basic understanding of joinery / assembly skills
Understanding of finishing processes using a range of sanders, routers and treatments
Experience of working within a collaborative work environment
An in-depth insight into the educational play industry

Responsibilities:
Production - Loading, Nesting and Cutting of all Pentagon Components on our CNC machines
Quality Control - ensuring all components meet the standards to move on to assembly
Efficiency - Recording of timings throughout the manufacturing process to meet set standards
Maintenance - Ensuring all machines are maintained in line with their maintenance schedule
Housekeeping - Ensuring all machines, areas around the machines, and storage locations are kept clean and tidy
Stock Management - Ensure raw materials are readily available and shortages are reported to team leaders
